It’s important that you feel good about choosing a therapist.

Every therapist is different, and here’s a bit about what you can expect when working with me. 

First, we’ll talk. We’ll discuss your challenges, problems, and fears – the things that make you feel stuck and the things that you want to change. We’ll also explore your strengths, thoughts, emotions, and experiences, your relationships, your values, and your beliefs.

Then, we’ll figure out what’s working for you in your life and what’s not. We’ll identify where you’re getting stuck and what needs to change, whether it’s thoughts, habits, relationships, situations, or memories.

Next, we’ll work together to change the things that are getting in your way.  That might mean challenging unhelpful ways of thinking, processing old memories and moments from the past, or simply problem-solving ways to fix what troubling you. 

Finally, we’ll help you design the life that you want.  We’ll work on discovering and developing new strengths and skills to live your best life, and we’ll make sure that you have the tools to keep it.

I’ve dedicated my life to helping people feel better, and I can help you feel better, too.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), licensed in the state of Colorado. I graduated with a masters degree from the University of Chicago in 2007, and have over a decade of experience providing counseling and therapy services. I specialize in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and EMDR, but my approach is flexible, combining the tools and techniques that work best for you.  

I understand that a “one-size fits all” therapy approach isn’t right for everyone. That’s why I offer a variety of flexible options, including both office-based and teletherapy services (video counseling). I understand that life can feel really overwhelming, and you’re juggling a lot of responsibilities. Together, we can find an approach that works for you and your family.
